In this blog my intention is to explore the many types of reading that nourish my spiritual life and faith journey. My own path grows out of Catholic roots, meanders through much study of world religions, includes more than ten years as a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), and is continuously unfolding. Most recently my journey has led me to spend time at prayer in a local masjid and immersed in study of Islam. I also am drawn to the powerful peacemaking commitment inherent in the Mennonite view of faith, and enjoy learning among people who practice what they preach.
My perspective is universalist, in that I believe God leads people toward God in ways that are too many for us to count, and too mysterious to be always understood. I hope that readers and seekers of all backgrounds will find something here to inspire their journey.
